Role Overview

The Head of IT & Business Operations will be responsible for leading Solutionara’s cloud operations, DevOps practices, infrastructure engineering, platform reliability, internal technology services, and business operations functions.

This leadership role owns the operational performance, security, scalability, and governance of both internal and client-facing cloud environments while ensuring the efficient operation of Solutionara’s Global Delivery Center.

The successful candidate will drive cloud modernization, infrastructure automation, AI-enabled operational practices, and DevOps maturity across the organization while also overseeing workplace technology, operational governance, vendor management, procurement, and business support functions.

This role requires a strong blend of cloud engineering expertise, operational leadership, business ownership, and hands-on execution within a fast-growing consulting environment.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Operations, DevOps & Infrastructure Leadership

  • Own Solutionara’s cloud operations and DevOps strategy across internal and clientfacing environments.
  • Establish and maintain AWS cloud operational standards, governance frameworks, and
  • security controls.
  • Lead infrastructure engineering initiatives focused on scalability, reliability, and
  • automation.
  • Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform, CloudFormation, and
  • related technologies.
  • Establish CI/CD standards, deployment governance, and release management practices.
  • Lead containerization and orchestration initiatives utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Define and maintain platform reliability, monitoring, observability, and incident
  • management frameworks.
  • Drive cloud cost optimization (FinOps), capacity planning, and operational efficiency
  • initiatives.
  • Partner with delivery teams supporting enterprise cloud transformation programs.
  • Establish service-level objectives, operational KPIs, and reliability standards.
  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted DevOps, AIOps, and automation-first operational
  • practices.

Cloud Security & Technology Governance

  • Establish and maintain cloud security standards and operational controls.
  • Oversee identity and access management (IAM) governance.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies, vulnerability management, and operational
  • best practices.
  • Support disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, and resilience planning.
  • Maintain audit readiness across technology operations and cloud environments.
  • Partner with leadership to strengthen enterprise security posture and risk management
  • practices

Internal IT Operations & Workplace Technology

  • Own and manage internal IT operations across the Global Delivery Center.
  • Oversee endpoint management, device lifecycle management, software licensing, and
  • asset administration.
  • Manage networking infrastructure, internet connectivity, Wi-Fi services, and workplace
  • technology platforms.
  • Lead employee technology onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Ensure high availability, security, and performance of internal technology services.
  • Establish operational support processes and service standards for internal users.

Business Operations & Administration

  • Lead day-to-day operational management of the Noida Global Delivery Center.
  • Oversee facilities management, workplace services, and administrative operations.
  • Ensure business continuity, workplace readiness, and operational scalability.
  • Develop and implement operational controls, standards, and governance processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and process
  • optimization.

Vendor Management & Procurement

  • Manage relationships with technology vendors, cloud providers, facilities partners, and
  • service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts, renewals, and service agreements.
  • Oversee procurement activities for technology, infrastructure, software, and operational
  • services.
  • Maintain governance over company assets, inventory, and vendor performance.
  • Drive cost optimization and vendor rationalization initiatives.

Operational Excellence & AI-Enabled Automation

  • Build automation-first operational processes across technology and business functions.
  • Implement AI-enabled operational tools and intelligent workflow solutions.
  • Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks for technology, cloud, and operational
  • performance.
  • Establish metrics-driven operational governance and continuous improvement programs.
  • Drive organizational maturity in DevOps, cloud operations, and AI-assisted delivery

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a trusted technology and operations partner to executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with Delivery, Engineering, Integration, HR, Finance, and Client Services
  • teams.
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders across multiple business functions.
  • Build and mentor future technology and operations leaders.
  • Establish accountability, operational discipline, and execution excellence across teams.

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 12–18+ years of experience across Cloud Operations, DevOps, Infrastructure
  • Engineering, IT Operations, Technology Management, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing cloud infrastructure, DevOps,
  • platform operations, or enterprise technology environments.
  • Experience supporting consulting, technology services, managed services, or highgrowth organizations.
  • Experience managing both technical and operational functions.
  • Demonstrated success building processes, governance frameworks, and scalable
  • operational models.

Technical Expertise

  • Strong expertise in AWS cloud services and enterprise cloud operations.
  • Experience leading DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform
  • Operations teams.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD platforms including GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab, or
  • similar technologies.
  • Hands-on understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking, security architecture, IAM, monitoring, and
  • observability platforms.
  • Experience with cloud governance, disaster recovery, backup strategies, and operational
  • resilience.
  • Familiarity with FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and resource utilization management.
  • Experience implementing automation and operational excellence initiatives.

  • Experience with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar governance
  • standards.
  • Experience supporting U.S.-based clients and distributed delivery teams.
  • Background in consulting, managed services, or technology services organizations.
