Position Overview

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end ownership of multiple enterprise technology projects across cloud, DevOps, enterprise integration, and full-stack application development. The role requires strong project governance, stakeholder management, delivery leadership, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope.

The ideal candidate possesses both strong project management capabilities and sufficient technical understanding to effectively manage complex engineering initiatives, identify delivery risks, and facilitate technical discussions with customers and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Delivery Leadership

  • Own the complete project lifecycle from project initiation through planning, execution, deployment, hypercare, and project closure.
  • Develop detailed project plans, work breakdown structures (WBS), schedules, milestones, dependencies, and delivery roadmaps.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality standards, and customer expectations.
  • Drive execution excellence across multiple concurrent enterprise engagements.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project execution.
  • Build trusted client relationships through regular communication, governance meetings, and executive status reporting.
  • Facilitate project steering committee meetings, status reviews, and stakeholder presentations.
  • Manage customer expectations while proactively identifying and resolving delivery challenges

Technical Project Management

  • Coordinate projects involving one or more of the following technology domains:
    1: Enterprise Integration (Dell Boomi, APIs, Middleware)
    2: Cloud Platforms (AWS)
    3: DevOps & CI/CD
    4: Full Stack Application Development
  • Collaborate closely with Architects, Technical Leads, Product Owners, QA teams, and Infrastructure teams.
  • Participate in solution planning, effort estimation, release planning, deployment coordination, and technical risk assessments.
  • Understand technical dependencies sufficiently to facilitate informed project decisions and remove delivery impediments.

Planning & Governance

  • Prepare and maintain:
    1: Project Plans
    2: RAID Logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
    3: Resource Plans
    4: Release Plans
    5: Status Reports
    6: Executive Dashboards
  • Monitor project health using KPIs, delivery metrics, milestones, resource utilization, and financial indicators.
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies

Resource & Delivery Management

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams consisting of Developers, DevOps Engineers,
    Integration Consultants, QA Engineers, and Solution Architects.
  • Support capacity planning and resource forecasting.
  • Monitor delivery productivity and utilization.
  • Facilitate issue resolution across internal and client teams.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Implement delivery governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Promote Agile delivery principles while adapting to client methodologies where required.
  • Support PMO initiatives and organizational delivery maturity.

AI-Led Delivery

  • Utilize AI-enabled project management and productivity tools to improve planning,
    reporting, documentation, risk identification, and delivery visibility.
  • Encourage adoption of automation and AI-assisted workflows across project teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5–10 years of experience managing enterprise technology projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading medium to large-scale client-facing projects.
  • Experience managing projects involving enterprise integration, DevOps, cloud technologies, or full-stack software development.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing geographically distributed technical teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.

Preferred Technical Exposure
Candidates should possess experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Dell Boomi or enterprise integration platforms
  • REST APIs and middleware technologies
  • AWS Cloud
  • DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Full Stack application development
  • Enterprise application modernization
  • Microservices architecture
  • SaaS implementations

Hands-on coding experience is not required; however, candidates should possess sufficient technical understanding to effectively lead engineering discussions and delivery activities.
